Working together
AHH is an architecture practice for projects where the answer is not yet defined. We are at our best when working with complex briefs, translating them together with clients and users into clear and unexpected buildings. We don’t design from the top down, nor do we rely on standard solutions. Whether it is a school, a cultural programme or a gaming hub, together we discover what a building can be.
The more complex the challenge, the more interesting it becomes. Together with clients, users and consultants, we explore how different needs, interests and possibilities can come together in one clear design.
A core team, long-term collaborations
AHH works with a core team of architects and designers, in close collaboration with a network of specialised practices and consultants. Many of these collaborations have developed over years and are an integral part of our architectural practice. Depending on the project, we bring together the knowledge and expertise it requires. The practice is led by architects Dafne Wiegers and Laurens Jan ten Kate, who each lead their own projects.
